Got to touch a lion cub – awesome experience! Also witnessed the cub mistake tourist’s bag for a toy, check it out in our Video Gallery! - Marlyn
As a nature lover, the Safari Tour is one of my favourites! I’m always learning something new! As always, the guests enjoyed it as much as I did, not forgetting the delicious cuisine! Interesting facts I learnt about Giraffes today – A giraffe's heart has the difficult task of pumping blood at a high enough pressure so that it can flow up the giraffe's neck to the brain. To accomplish this, a giraffe's heart is specially adapted. It can weigh up to 10 kg’s (the size of a football!) and generates twice the blood pressure of other large mammals. This means that they cannot lower their heads for more than 2-3mins, otherwise they might pass out due to the excessive blood pressure to their brain. Interesting! – Marlyn
