The Cape Peninsula Tour will take you around the entire Peninsula and show you the wonders of Cape Town – from the unspoiled beaches, to the spectacular sight of Cape Point!

Our journey to Cape Point takes us along the majestic Atlantic seaboard.  We pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay with their soft white sand and azure blue water. The formidable 12 Apostle Peaks rise above the road on one side, while shear cliffs and incredible rock formations drop into the cold Atlantic Ocean on the other side. There is no doubt the coast of the Cape Peninsula offers magnificent scenery with its great biodiversity.

We arrive at the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay with its imposing Sentinel. Here you can enjoy a 40min boat ride to Seal Island (for your own account; time and weather permitting) or shop for souvenirs at the harbour craft market.

Our tour continues over Chapman’s Peak which offers amazing photo opportunities, and then onto the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. This reserve is home to; magnificent ‘fynbos’, many different species of buck and birds including ostriches and the ever popular and mischievous baboons. Take a leisurely walk up to the lighthouse to see “the mythical meeting” of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. A Funicular/tram is available (for your own account), should you not wish to walk up to the lighthouse.

We visit Boulders Beach to see the Jackass penguins as we stroll along the boardwalk. Those who wish to see these tuxedo-dressed friends up close on the beach can visit the Penguin sanctuary (for own account). We drive by the naval base of Simonstown, and then we venture inland to our last stop of the day at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (Full Day Tour only) which offers a fitting end to a day filled with all the Cape has to offer.
